The Great Reversal - October 29, 2006

Winning the lottery. Inheriting a substantial fortune. Finding a hidden treasure. Aren't these the things for which we secretly wish? Something that will give us a boost and lift us from our current despair? Jacob and his family find themselves in dire circumstances, yet God has prepared the way for them - Joseph has offered them unimaginable wealth in Egypt. Yet for us, it about so much more than riches. God, through his son Jesus Christ, has offered us "The Great Reversal." We can exchange death for eternal life - a life lived with Him and all the riches He has prepared for us in heaven.
