The Blessings - November 5, 2006

Picture this - a very old man, near death. He has known you well for a very long time. He has seen your triumphs and your failures. Are you going to like what is said about you? This is the picture of Jacob as he gives "The Blessings" to his sons. He has given each of his sons an appropriate blessing - some can look forward to powerful and prosperous decendants. Some are facing generations of futility and struggle. In our lives, God has promised, through His son Jesus, that nobody's failures are too much for God to forgive. He wants to give you His blessing.
