The Shock of Recognition - September 17, 2006

We are all sinners - that's a fact. But coming face to face with a particular sin or a pattern of sinful behavior leads to "The Shock of Recognition." God uses people and circumstances in order to highlight the not-so-favorable parts of our character. Is it pleasant? Probably not. Is it necessary? Absolutely! Recognizing this is key to intimate fellowship with God.
